This week I'm going to be slowly adding each of these things to the vintage shop. I would do it all at once, but I've just got so much going on these days! I'm moving in less than a week, and I haven't even begun packing. I'm quite intimidated by the thought, actually, considering I own more stuff than those people on Oprah who get a surprise "interference" visit from a clutter expert. I really am super excited to move, though; the new house is absolutely gorgeous! I'll be living with 3 roommates, but I swear I won't even notice they're there, that's how big the house is! I'll post pictures when I'm all settled in.
Thanks to the lovely Vanessa for letting me use her studio for the photoshoot!
Photos from a shoot I did a few weeks ago with Tom. It was literally below freezing out, and I was wearing tiny little mini dresses throughout the shoot, but I was in such a good mood that day and we were having so much fun taking pictures that I didn't even care. The second half of these photos (which have quite an intriguing theme) are still being edited, but I will post them soon!
I'm longing for spring more than ever now that February is on it's way out. Here are some lovely spring-inspired tokens I picked out for my weekly wishlist (idea swiped from the ever adorable dinosaurtoes)
My agenda for today includes nothing too romantic, besides the usual cuddle session with Scout. I like this picture because she's totally oblivious to the smooch on her noggin, yet you can tell she has a feeling she should be embarrassed about something. Today I'm looking at houses & meeting with landlords all day. I'm so excited to move on March 1st, we've been finding really amazing houses that are all miraculously affordable! Then later tonight I'm seeing Cory Chisel & Jason Boesel play at the marvelous Turner Hall Ballroom. I'm super excited because I haven't gone to a show in way too long, and I even weaseled my way into getting in for free. I quite enjoy not paying for things.
I realized today that I've never blogged about any of my handmade creations. My favorite thing in the world to do is sew, so you'd think I would've posted something about it by now! I make one of a kind dresses made with 100% recycled vintage fabric. I plan on making a handmade etsy shop really soon; for some reason I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Most of these pictures are of designs that are already sold, but I wanted to show them anyway because they are some of my all time favorites. In related news, Vanessa and I applied for the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn today!! We are still working out logistics, like how on earth we're going to get to New York City with all our luggage, inventory, tables, chairs, racks, plus our giant tent. We are two determined ladies though, so we will find a way, no doubt!
I've been adding things to my etsy shop like crazy lately, so I thought I'd just post some of my favorites rather than overwhelm you with a million pictures. I seem to be unstoppable in the shoe department for some reason. It's so hard not to keep every single pair!
